TapShop
The Consumer51 team invented TapShop in response to our clients’ interest in shortening their sales funnels and creating a more engaging digital advertisement experience.
Imagine, you’re flipping through a digital edition of your favorite magazine and you come across an editorial spread featuring an outfit you love. You’re interested in the shoes, jacket, shirt, pants…everything. But finding those SKU’s online can be tedious and disruptive to your magazine reading experience. At best you’ll have to link from the ad, outside the magazine, to your mobile browser, to each brand’s respective site to buy each item separately. More than likely, you’ll give up before completing the purchase. This is the problem we aimed to solve.
TapShop lets you buy each item in the outfit, from multiple merchants, in one streamlined check out process, all from the convenience of the magazine. Beyond a solution for digital magazines, TapShop is a conversion optimization platform that transforms publisher’s/affiliate’s apps and any digital media property into retail space. There’s a use case for most forms of visually driven digital advertisement. TapShop increases advertiser’s conversions by enabling consumers to buy products directly from the advertisement or editorial content without leaving the website or app.
In addition, TapShop helps publishers improve ad performance metrics by creating more engaging ads that keep users on their media property longer.
We created the logo, UI for the consumer facing in-app experience, as well as the UX mock ups for a CMS portal. The portal is designed for magazine publishers to manage their TapShop accounts across their portfolio of media properties.
